Peter Tarricone

Peter Tarricone has been playing guitar for over twenty years and has been teaching for over fifteen years. He has a deep passion for music and music education. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Classical Guitar Performance from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and he received his Master’s degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Tennessee. Peter is well versed in a variety of styles including jazz, classical, blues, rock, bluegrass, country, and funk. In addition to guitar, he also teaches ukulele, bass, banjo, and mandolin. Peter is a dedicated and motivated teacher who enjoys helping his students reach their full potential.
After graduating from UT, Peter spent a few years teaching private and group lessons full-time and performing in the Knoxville area. Later, he spent over a year traveling the world while playing in the show band on Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. Around 2014, Peter moved to Asheville, North Carolina where he taught private lessons and played freelance gigs with other musicians throughout Western North Carolina.
Peter moved to Boise in 2018 with his girlfriend, Nicky, and German Shepherd, Kovax. They enjoy hiking in the Boise foothills, going for bike rides along the Greenbelt, and going skiing at Bogus Basin. They are excited to further explore everything the Treasure Valley has to offer.

Dennis Feeney

Dennis started studying bass, music theory and songwriting at the age of 14 (nearly 40 years ago). He’s played bass in high school and college jazz bands, studied bass and music theory at the University of Wyoming, completed the Basslines workshop at the Berklee College of Music, and currently takes lessons from bassist Nathan East.

He has performed professionally in Wyoming along the front-range of Colorado, the East Coast including performances in Washington DC, Philadelphia PA, & New York City, and most recently in the Treasure Valley of Idaho.

Dennis has recorded four professional albums of original music. He’s passionate about performing, composing and teaching music. You’ll learn proper technique, theory, scales, chords, reading music and studying compositions from master bassists.

Antonio Vazquez

Antonio Vazquez is a student at Boise State University seeking a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. He has spent some time studying classical guitar with Jake Ineck the winner of the Northwest Guitar Festival in 2007 and is currently working closely with Dr. Ryan Nitz who has obtained a Doctorate in Classical Guitar. With his roots in blues guitar, Antonio will be able to teach you the techniques of rock, blues, simple jazz, pop, and classical music. He has been playing guitar for over 10 years and has a unique soulful passion for music and music education. He enjoys teaching students of all ages, simply anyone who has true desire to learn music, and in his spare time enjoys writing and learning more about music. Antonio will be able to provide and build on foundational and intermediate guitar techniques, scales, modes, sight reading ability, tablature use, chords and more! Throughout these lessons we will develop a strong foundation that will transfer to any style of playing! He believes that anyone with a passion can learn and love the guitar.

Justin Holland
Guitar and Voice Instructor

Justin Holland was originally born in Tucson Arizona. He grew up in Prescott Valley and moved to Boise when he was ten years old. From a very early age, Justin had already developed an insatiable passion for music, and was originally self taught as a vocalist and guitarist. He has been composing his own music since the age of thirteen. During high school, he was part of an intermediate guitar ensemble, directed by Patric Pulliam. Justin is currently studying BM Music Education at Boise State University, and is a student of Dr. Ryan Nitz, Dr. Christina Mancheni, and Dr. Barton Moreau for guitar, voice, and piano respectively. He will be graduating Boise State with a Bachelor’s degree in May, 2025.
